1) It takes over the audio feed every time you open it and pauses whatever you were playing even if you just want to read the articles and not stream. 2) It constantly crashes. 3) It doesnt work from 10pm-12pm eastern. Im a huge fan of the concept of this app (i.e. a central place for Boston sports articles), and use it constantly as a result (despite its flaws), just the execution is terrible.

The app constantly crashes during playback of on demand segments. Seems like basic technology in 2015, and yet why is it so difficult for EEI to deliver a product that works? Updated August 2015: I was able to listen to one segment today, but after that I cant do a thing without it crashing. Hard to understand why they cant get it this app to work. Updated January 2016: Continues to crash from time to time on the iPad. Very frustrating. Trying to catch up on last nights post-game segments, but everything crashes after a minute or two.

I thoroughly enjoy the radio program and the hosts. I love being able to listen to sports talk regarding New England teams. Unfortunately the app does crash often.

I cant listen live for more than 5 minutes without the app crashing. Never had this problem before with my IPhone 5s. Maybe its something to do with IPhone 6 Plus , but either way it should be addressed. I just want to listen to some WEEI, on the road, before the playoffs today. Is that too much to ask?

Keeps me up to date with sport headlines plus when I listen to shows off the app it all runs smooth !!!

A Bostonian in Florida for the winter, I like to stream local radio from the "Hub". The WEEI app is just too aggravating to listen to because of the horrendously irritating Progressive Insurance ads. First of all, it sounds like the volume control has been cranked up about 5 notches. Flos disgusting, manly voice goes through your head like a piercing arrow. Theyre supposed to be funny but end up making you hate the company and change stations. AutoZone ads play at the normal volume. Also, Dennis and Callahan, in the morning are racists. They are constantly bashing blacks, Latinos, gays, women, and so on. The two of them should be fired.

It hardly ever works on weekends mostly on Sunday. It either wont work at all or it works for a minute or two and cuts out. And on weekdays after 8:00 pm it does the same thing. But I still like it a lot. But it would be cool if you could fix the late night and Sunday problem of cutting out. Thank you. Youre a great station

Continuously crashes even though Im using the latest IOS. You should be able to swipe between articles rather than backing out and having to select a different one. Take a page from the UMass app. Easy to use and doesnt crash, ever.

If there was a way to give negative stars I would. App has actually gotten worse over time. Cant listen for 5 minutes without a crash and 4 of those minutes are the same obnoxiously loud commercials repeatedly. This app is a steaming pile of waste

I like reading the content, dont like the way audio takes over when it opens, and it closes itself a lot. Wish there was more and better reading content, I dont listen a lot, just catch up periodically.

I no longer live in the Boston area and this help keep me in touch with Boston sports.

Current version crashes upon starting - at least on latest version of IOS on iPhone 6s. Fortunately there is another sports station in Boston
